Definition of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Bible Truth states in 1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
The essence of the Gospel for mankind to receive, know and believe is that our sins are forgiven.
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
The Whole Gospel truth for mankind to be saved centers in The Cross with the central Word to us is that our SINS are Forgiven.
Because our sins have been forgiven at the Cross, the whole workings of Salvation come to us and they are not to be separate and partly lived but we are to receive ALL that God has provided for us thru the Gospel. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not be sectioned and partly believed but to be believed as a Whole for salvation.
What does it mean that our sins have been forgiven? These 10 points or areas of truth of the Gospel are to be believed as a Whole for a complete salvation in Christ. You are not saved if you only believe some of God's Word but you are only saved when you believe and live by ALL of God's Word. You will live what you believe. These 10 manifestations of eternal life are the results of our sins being forgiven. This is what it means for our sins to be forgiven.

Why is it necessary that our sins be forgiven?
Because we were born sinners and out of right relationship with God.

We all deserve to die because we have sinned against God and lived evil but because God Loves us as well as He is Just and must punish sin, He poured out His wrath upon His Son Jesus Christ at the Cross to save us and to satisfy Himself by the perfect sacrifice of Christ on the Cross.
